Rattlesnake Ridge 2008 Zinfandel

Rattlesnake Ridge 2008 Zinfandel, signed by Larry Turley. Magnum. Winemaker's Notes: Thought to be the highest elevation vineyard in Napa County, Rattlesnake Ridge is aptly named. It is literally the spine of Howell Mountain and it shows in the wine: there is a nerve of energy in the tightly wound '08. Finding the right balance in mountain grown wine can be difficult; but, between the tannin, acid, concentration and intensity this year's Rattlesnake Ridge Zinfandel nails it.
